Heather Howard
Heather Howard is the Information Services Librarian/Technology Lead at Trine University. In 2013 she co-founded the Indianapolis Literary Pub Crawl, and over the course of two years the event has raised more than $5,000 for Indy Reads in support of adult literacy. The third crawl is currently planned for Oct 10, 2015. Heather has recently co-authored an article on scholarly communication that was published in the Journal of the Association for Information Science Technology, and has spoken at library and archiving conferences locally and nationally. She is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Writer’s Center.
In previous lives, Heather has been a restaurant manager, steelworker, advertising account manager, and manager of a property management company. She holds her MLS from IUPUI and a Bachelor’s in Science in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Purdue University. She lives in Fort Wayne, IN with her husband and three adorable cats.
